He therefore noted that “this is a deliberate government policy to keep the citizens in poverty.”

“Museveni wants to keep the people in poverty so that he moves around with sacks of money and people see him as a savior,’’ stressed Mwijuke.


He therefore called upon Ugandans to come up and demand for better working conditions by the government.

“When the president wants a bill on oil or cultural leaders passed it is done in a few hours but when it comes to the workers he delays. Workers should therefore go with sacks on Labour Day and confront the president about the employment policy in Uganda,’’ noted Mwijukye.
