NTV’s Agness Nanduttu Reelected UPPA President

this geneva;”>Nandutu, what is ed who is commonly known for the popular NTV`s Point Blank, trounced her rival Isaac Imaka of Daily Monitor in a landslide victory on Monday morning in an election held at the Parliamentary Building.

The results declared by the Chairman Electoral Commission UPPA, Mr Charles Bukuwa put Nandutu at 66 votes (77.6 percent) against Imaka’s 17 votes (20 percent). 2 votes were invalid.

Speaking shortly after her victory, Nandutu promised to continue searching for opportunities for the members of UPPA and strengthening the body to attract more financial support and education sponsorships for members.

Nandutt declared this is her second and last term which is ending after two years.


Meanwhile, Dalton Kawesa of The Red Pepper was also elected Organizing Secretary of UPPA.

Kawesa got 31 votes (36.1%) trouncing two candidates, Fred Kiku of Pearl FM who polled 28 votes and Kfm’s Bohaz Nahabwe who only managed only 25.
