SC Villa Coach Missing, Players On Strike

drugs geneva;”>The club officials after relentless failing to release players’ monies for nearly three months have forced Isaac Kirabira, sildenafil Ronald Muganga, Stephen Bengo and Muleme Isaac to resort to striking.

The four-some are SC Villa’s most reliable assets and have spent nearly to one week without attending the training with interim coach Hussein Mbalangu’s disappearance also deepening their troubles.

I need my wages .. Ronald Muganga

Mbalangu a former SC Villa player was abruptly shipped from non-league Azam FC in Bweyogerere to cover the void caused by Paul Nkata’s crossover to Africa Champions League outfit and moneybags URA FC two months back. Incidentally he has gone six games without victory to the spite of Villa fans accusing him of derailing the club’s ambitions.

He is now reportedly in Kyaggwe (his ancestral home) cooling off after Friday’s ill-fated 0-0 draw with relegation candidates Water FC at Wankulukuku.

In turmoil .. SC Villa

Reports from Villa Park indicated stand-in tactician Hamza Kalanzi has opted to omit the striking quadruple as he prepares a makeshift side to face Proline at Lugogo.

This evokes memories of late 2008 Don Bosco (DR Congo) and Cranes left back Godfrey Walusimbi, Ethiopian based Robert Odongkara, Cranes legend Simon Masaba (SC Villa skipper then), Brian Bwete among others were expelled from the club for similar reasons as is happening today.

Kalanzi is confident of positive performance starting ahead of the Proline game though chances of contending for the League title are no more with Villa’s bass lying on shoulders of veteran Hakim Magumba.

Skipper Steven Bengo

SC Villa only won twice since Paul Nkata’s departure and are placed 5th on the standings with 43 points after 27 games.
