viagra 60mg geneva;”>According to Hannington Kiwanuka, Chairman UBDAA, many bus drivers are complaining over denial of appointment letters from their bus owners, underpayment and lack of job security.

He affirmed that joining forces will help advocate for the bus drivers’ rights and encourage the government to increase revenue for the drivers.

“Most drivers have been working without being recognized by the government and Uganda revenue authority, but we want that to change,” added Kiwanuka.

Willy Katende, General Secretary UBDAA noted that last year the union had a meeting at Ministry of Works and Transport offices in Kyambogo where they discussed matters concerning drivers like issuing of appointment letters to the drivers, registering all bus drivers to a specific organization; however, they have not seen any change.

He called upon the government to compel bus owners to endeavor to register their drivers to a union and issue appointment letters as form of job security.
