It remains unclear why Vegas chose to leave his fans crestfallen. Usually, international artistes perform for over two hours as their concerts in Uganda are widely publicized.

Mr. Vegas performed most of his recent songs and a few other of the late Reggae legend Bob Marley.


“I wouldn’t be in Uganda if Bob Marley had not existed. He was a reggae Music legend. We must remember him,” said Mr. Vegas while on stage.


Other local musicians that performed on the same stage with Mr. Vegas were Gravity Omuttuju, Aziz Azion, Michael Ross and Ak47.

The only singing general; Gen. Mega Dee, Jose Chameloene, Sheeba, Marlo, Vboyo and other upcoming artists were in he house.


“Mr. Vegas, go and tell the people of Jamaica that there is only one musician in Uganda and he is Jose Chameleone,” said the Leone Island boss Jose Chameleon.

Chameleon’s fans were crazy about him as he made a surprise performance for around 10 minutes. He thrilled his fans and they were left yawning for more of his music. The concert officially ended at around 12:45am.


But revelers took off time to dance till late after the concert.
