Mbarara Close To Kickboxing Showdown

He will fight Hungarian Szabo Sandor Tiber with a record of 15 wins, 4 draws and 1knockout in25 fights while Tugume has won all his three professional fight 2 by knockout.

Flanked by Prof. Badru Kateregga the owner of Kampala University where the Mbarara native is a second year student, Tugume who clinched two gold medals at the East African University Games promised to make the best of the superlight-heavy weight bout as he prepares to face motor mouth Moses Golola on June 19 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

If he wins the full-contact bout against Szabo Sandor in his hometown, Titus Tugume will gain promotion to a World Kickboxing Federation Rankings position.


The Hungarian will come to Kampala on Wednesday 27th Sept aboard Turkish Airways before proceeding to Mbarara the following day for the weigh-in and the fight set for Good Friday at Agip Motel.

Entrance is Shs 10,000/= and 20,000/= with fellow Kampala University student Kickboxer Shanky Mubiru set to fight another unnamed Hungarian as main undercards.
