Ruchoru said that after a few minutes Chuol Gony a student of a Sudanese decent came and found that his car had been broken into and his bag that contained his laptop had been taken and then replaced with another bag.
“The student informed us and we opened the bag only to find Makerere university documents and some bottle-like objects,” narrated Ruchoru. She continued that they immediately called the police who came and cordoned off the place waiting for the Police Bomb Squad to come.
“When they came they checked the bag and later went away with it without saying anything,” said the security officer.
However Mr. Baluku Alfred the OC at Kabalagala Police station confirmed that the bag suspected to contain a bomb was found at the university and said it had been taken by the Bomb Squad for further investigations. He therefore called upon the people to be calm and wait for the results from the bomb squad.
