CR: Miss Knowless, what are your memories of your recent Kampala Club Rouge music performance that you would possibly want to experience at your Second Album Launch at Kigali Serena Hotel?

KI: The ambience and the enthusiasm of the Kampala people was awesome so I guess with Jose here things will be just perfect.

CR: What was your first time to launch an album? How did it make you feel?

KI: My first time was in 2011 and it was big. I had Braquett from Nigeria it made me feel like I have achieved something.

CR: Listening to your second album ‘Uwondiwe’ which is unarguably a decent job that cuts across the East African borders, what is your opinion on Uwondiwe? Are you satisfied with the whole Album?

KI: On this album I discovered myself, who I am really that’s why I called it

“UWONDIWE.” in English it means “Who am I.”

Jose Chameleone

CR: Do you write your own songs? And how long does it take for you to write one?

Ki: Most of them I write them myself. You know you can’t really estimate the time it takes to write a song, because when you are writing you express your feelings so it depends on how I feel on a particular subject.

CR: As a vocalist and artiste, who are your influences?

KI: You know I love just good music there’s I got influenced by different people.

CR: With your exposure, what’s your take on taking Rwandese Music beyond East Africa?

KI: As a Rwandan artist I have to do all it takes to get our music not only in East Africa but also worldwide.

CR: Can you tell us about your future music plans? What do have in store for your fans especially in Rwanda and in the rest of 2013?

KI: More shows!!! I have a tour in Rwanda starting May after that I’ll be in Canada for 4 shows in July if everything goes well.

CR: How much has your team and sponsors injected in making sure this Album Launch is a massive success?

KI: hahaha!!! That’s not an easy question but it’s a lot.

CR: Any message that you would like to convey to your fans out there as we wish you the best luck?
