drug geneva;”>“I’m ready for the Entebbe Open. I will do my best to retain the honours though it won’t be easy this time around as I have spent long without playing in Entebbe,” Namakula stated.

The defending champion who had earlier this week pleaded for better challengers will face stiff competition from a host of Tanzanian and Rwandan lady golfers for the 36-hole Entebbe tournament.

The Open that will be used to celebrate the International Women’s Day is set to tee off on Friday with Tanzanian star Iddi Madina who finished second in the Uganda Open last year considered to give Namakula the hardest competition.

The third edition of the Castle Lite Entebbe Ladies Golf Open will be on from March 8-9.
