Jordan Tamale’s 64th minute strike was enough to push George Semwogerere’s side three slots upward on the Fufa Super League to seventh place and enlighten their chances of atop half finish in their first season of topflight football.

“It was a brilliant result for us. Proline is a very formidable side who love to pass the ball but we tried to cross up the gaps especially in the midfield and converted our sole chance at goal.” Kiira Young skipper Kwizera told chimpsport after the game.


The loss leaves newly recruited coach Steven Bogere’s side in slip into tenth spot on 23 points.

At Kakindu, Patrick Asiku’s goal was enough to push Jinja based Bidco FC to 8th place, one ahead of defending champions Express FC. Aziz Kemba was also on target for Bidco while Asad Mukibwa pulled one for struggling Water FC.
