Police and Good Samaritans are using axes to extract body parts and survivors from wreckages of vehicles involved in a road accident that occurred on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at Kitigoma in Njeru after Mabira Forest along Kampala-Jinja Highway.

He said an Mbale-bound taxi registration number UAW 200W collided with another taxi and a truck stationed on the roadside hence the bloodbath.
Eyewitnesses say the wreckages of the three vehicles sat on a pool of blood.
Terrified survivors screamed their hearts out for help.
Kigozi said “the scores injured in the accident have been rushed to Jinja Hospital.”
The accident which occurred at around 10:00pm comes at a time when authorities are stepping up police operations against reckless driving along highways.
Traffic Police are trying to establish the cause of the fatal incident.
“We are yet to conclude the rescue operation. The wreckage is still being cut as more people are still trapped there,” said Kigozi.
