The Ministry of Health has on Tuesday confirmed 64 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda bringing the cumulative total number of confirmed infections in the country to 11,621.
2 new COVID-19 deaths have been registered in Kampala.
“Results from COVID-19 tests done on 26th October 2020; 64 new COVID-19 cases confirmed. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 11,621,” the Health Ministry announced.
The new cases include 64 contacts and alerts.
These include; 45 from Kampala, 5 from Soroti, 5 from Tororo, 3 from Kiryandongo, 2 from Kyotera, 2 from Wakiso, 1 from Pallisa, and 1 from Rubanda.
Currently, Uganda has a cumulative total of 11,621 COVID-19 confirmed cases, 7,400 recoveries and 103 fatalities.
