
The Ministry of Health has on Monday confirmed 63 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda bringing the cumulative total number of confirmed infections in the country to 9,864.
1 new COVID-19 death has also been registered from Kampala.
“Results from COVID-19 tests done on 11th October 2020; 63 new COVID-19 cases confirmed. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 9,864,” the Health Ministry announced.
The new cases include 63 contacts and alerts.
These include; 24 from Kampala, 11 from Gulu, 9 from Wakiso, 6 from Soroti, 3 Masindi, 2 from Mbale, 1 from Amuru, 1 from Busia 1 from Masaka, 1 from Mityana, 1 from Moroto, 1 from Ntungamo, 1 from Sembabule and 1 from Tororo.
Currently, Uganda has a cumulative total of 9,864 COVID-19 confirmed cases, 6,109 recoveries and 94 fatalities.
