Get something to get you busy say like every evening go for a road walk with a friend or alone. Make it a routine and listen to your heart beat. This is the only way you can get to understand the reasons for your depression and it helps also get busy and focus more on your routine than the depression factor.

2. Set goals: When you’re depressed, you may feel like you can’t accomplish anything. That makes you feel worse about yourself.

To push back, set daily goals for yourself. Work on the things you never thought you would do like read that book that you never finished or start up a reading culture and give yourself the number of books you’re reading in a week.

3. Exercise: It temporarily boosts feel-good chemicals called endorphins. It may also have long-term benefits for people with depression. Regular exercise seems to encourage the brain to rewire itself in positive ways, Cook says. This might feel like getting a routine but exercises are important in our lives and according to research, people who make a lot of exercises hardly face depression. You don’t need to beat Usain Bolt at his game but make your own person, the healthy person.

4. Eat healthy: This might seem a daily thing but a health meal is important, there is no specific food for depression but it’s good to mind what enters into your body. You need to control your stomach, foods with less oil or natural oil like avocado, spinach and ground nuts help a lot in easing depression.

5. Get enough sleep: Most people will cause their own depression due to a certain television series or office work, let there be time for everything.

Depression make it hard for you to sleep lack of sleep will make it worse. Avoid things that would take away your sleep, leave office a little early, don’t work from home and avoid having televisions in your room. Concentrate on your sleep and fight the depression.

This might seem like a lot but can help bring magic in a person’s life, because when you’re depressed, you can never have the fun you always wanted.
