We do not respect those agreements he signed with Tullow. They are null and void. We do not respect them,” Besigye told a huge crowd of supporters during an A4C rally in Mukono on Sunday.

“We shall Museveni even if it means shedding our own blood. We are ready to die. He has to stop undermining Parliament. MPs had ordered him not to go ahead with oil agreements until laws have been put in place. This oil belongs to all of us,” Besigye as supporters chanted “Museveni must go.”

Museveni last Friday told Parliament nobody would sabotage oil exploration and extraction.

He further elaborated oil money would be used for energy research and building durable infrastructure.

Besigye further alerted the youth-dominated rally to start preparing to liberate their country from Museveni’s tyranny.

He said Ugandans must overcome fear if they intend to cause regime change.

The rally was also addressed by MP Betty Nambooze among others.
