Culture Minister thrown Out of Parliamentary Committee

view geneva; font-size: small;”>The committee chaired by the Woman Member of Parliament for Nakasongola District, thumb Hon Magaret Komuhangi had written an invitation letter to the Minister on 17th July 2014, view but to their surprise, when she showed up, she failed to answer the questions which were relevant to the committee hence throwing her out.

The invitation was as a result of a petition that was presented by several individuals and organizations to Parliament to find out more about human sacrifice in the country in which children are the most affected.

The minister also failed to explain the difference between witch doctors and traditional herbalists which has caused many Ugandans to be cheated under the disguise of curing them of different ailments.

The Legislators also demanded to know when the ministry was planning on giving licenses to all those authorized to practice herbal medicine.
