Police Nabs Head of Clock Tower B 16 Thugs geneva; font-size: small;”>Police made an operation during the peak hours when these thugs usually force their way through the traffic and start opening car doors taking anything they set their hands on, medications ranging from money, order laptops mobile phones, ladies hand bags and other valuables.

“These boys usually jump into the trench with their pillage, making it difficult to find them and at times some steal and then pass it over to others, creating difficulty to differentiate the person who has stolen and the one who is possessing the pillage,” revealed the Kampala Metropolitan Police Publicist, Patrick Onyango.

Onyango also said that Police has of late disbanded most rackets, which include the then Kifesi, Beirut boys, Nywezamu which robs passengers in taxis and Kasumuluzo a group that used to sedate a people who were in their homes using chloroform and then use a master key to open and leave the whole house empty especially in Ndeeba.

Onyango adds that since most of the ring leaders of these groups have been netted, they ought to run down this kind of crime in the city and its neighborhood.
