Ugandan Teams Depart for Spanish Soccer Tournament

Soccer league has filled a team of 24 players which will be featuring in both Under-12 and Under-10 categories

Flagging off the team at City Parents Primary School, Walter Oyet, the academy coach, said the challenge will expose the young talent to international standards.

City parents school headteacher, Martin Isagala urged the players to make friends during their trip and remain disciplined.

The tournament has groomed many international soccer icons who include Lionel Messi.


According to Kololo Soccer Academy coach, Moses Muyanja, his team will also be flagged off tomorrow at its home grounds in Kitante by former FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa.

Both teams will fly aboard Fly Emirates form Entebbe to Dubai before connecting to Madrid.
