Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) technical Committee has summoned a squad of 21 players to start training in preparation for the 2021 busy calendar year and an upcoming tour to Qatar in December.
The squad will start preparations on Monday 9th November under the guidance of interim coach David Turinawe and Assistant coach, Jackson Ogwang at Lugogo Cricket oval.
The squad is poised to start preparations for an impending T20 Invitational tour in Qatar scheduled for December that will feature Malaysia, Nepal, and hosts Qatar.
The training comes after the association’s successful inaugural T20 Elite tournament and is also an opportunity to put players in shape for a very busy 2021 for the Cricket Cranes.
The new Cricket Cranes head coach, Lawrence Mahatlane will be joining up with the squad this month as he also prepares to be part of the traveling contingent to Qatar.
