MX 1 speed merchant Maxim Van Pee once again proved a force to reckon with in motocross and came top with Asaf Natan finishing second whereas record champion in the category Arthur Blick Junior was left trailing in third position.

However, in last round of the day, Maxim made a mistake of letting his opponents including Natan and Blick to take the lead on twelve seconds before him, but interestingly after two laps, they were all trailing almost 100 meters.

Now Maxim is leading the championship with 237 points while Blick with 201 points and Talhah Kiggundu with 166 are second and third respectively.

Meanwhile in the MX 2 category, Fatuh Kiggundu scooped the top honors whereas Ben Nsumba also topped the MX 65 category where Fortune Ssentamu who was recovering from an injury only managed 3rd after collecting 45 points.

In the MX 65 category, Zimbabwe’s Kuda Mhene left Ugandans trailing in all the three rounds of the day and if he was legible to score points he would have scooped all the 60 points with none of the Ugandans trying his pace.

Maxim has now brightened his chances of lifting the national motor cross championship with a few races left to the end of the season whereas ten time champion Arthur Blick seems to have bowed out of this year’s championship considering the timid number of points he has so far collected.
