It wasn’t an easy game but we managed to offer what we could and won at our home ground only that we couldn’t edge their goals in first leg,” said Jinja Municipal Council coach Charles Namakola.

Richard Wandyaka‘s 87th minute goal for Jinja Municipal Council won the game for the home based side though it was little too late to help them progress.

“I wonder why Jinja Municipal Council is not one of the teams going to play in the Big league play-offs. They have talented players,” said URA coach Paul Nkata.

URA will now take on KCC FC on June 7, 2014 in the final that will be played at Mbale Municipal Stadium.

KCC who are chasing a double eliminated defending champions, Sports Club Victoria University on Sunday 2 – 1 on aggregate.

The winner of this cup will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederations cup next year.
