Van Pee is among the 45 riders currently training at Garuga ahead of the forthcoming National Motocross Championship slated for May 18.
Van Pee proved that international exposure has improved his standards a lot as he had a one man show in the MX1 category beating challenger Arthur Blick Jnr and Talha Kiggundu within one of the events held this year at Garuga truck race.
He managed to beat Arthur Blick by nine points sending him in second place with 51 points while Talha Kiggundu emerged third with 45 points.
Van Pee has acquired vast experience from Germany where he has been training with international riders, Jurgen coopers.
“Winning is not the most important thing but the competition in my class was not so stiff as expected but I also think that it’s because of the
training I had in Germany with Jurgen Coopers.”
With that brilliant history, Van Pee remains the rider to watch this season.
More stiff competition has been cited in the open class where four riders promise to emerge victorious.
Others in the same contest include; Olivier Van Pee who has just acquired a new machine, shell sponsored Yunick Bakunda, Yasin Bukala and Jesse Kamstra.
Junior riders Alaster Blick; Ali Yasser, Wazir Omar among others, have also proved to be unstoppable during the training.
The 60cc riders include Ben Nsumba, Fortune Ssentamu and Ali Omar.
