According to research, people who invest much earn eqaully in the near future, noted Muyinga while urging students to invest in sports activities.
He said that worldwide, sports personalities are earning a lot and likewise, sports skills can help fight unemployment in the country.
Muyingo added that the government is coming up with the resolution of making physical education compulsory in all government schools so that students take sports education very seriously.
He also ordered institution principals to give a priority to skilled physical education teachers while recruiting teachers in their institutions.
Minister Muyingo also revealed that the Education ministry was drafting the Physical Education Bill which will be presented before Parliament for passing.
He noted that the bill seeks to help the ministry on how to manage the funding allocation of physical education and organisation among different institutions in the country.
The bill covers schools, institutions and the armed forces and is aimed at improving talents in the country.
The Minister said that government has a programme of skilling while at school to ready them for the job market.
Meanwhile, the National Intercollegiate Sports Championship is currently being hosted by Kabale National Teachers College and is attended by all the colleges across the country including national teachers collage Muni Arua, Kaliro NTC, Mubende NTC and Unyama NTC.
