Eritrean National Arrested With Drugs

The suspect was arrested with marijuana after different residents who were complaining about his movements, tipped police.

Abudallah, according to sources, moves with a click of several goons who terrorise residents in Kabalagala, Muyenga and the neighbouring areas.

However, the Division Police Commander Kabalagala Police Station, Steven Chemonges, said Abudallah has several cases to answer ranging from drug abuse to robbery.

“He has appeared at Kabalagala Police Station more than three times on cases of drug abuse and aggravated robbery.”


The DPC says he will soon be produced to courts of law to answer several charges.

In related news, police are also holding a one Joseph Ssali, 27 years, a resident of Munyonyo for robbing five motorcycles.

Ssali has been swapping number plates of different motorcycles and selling them to Butambala, Masaka and Rakai districts.

According to the CID Officer at Kabalagala Police Station, Nusula Kemigisha, between 2012 and 2014, Ssali is one of the many thugs who for a long time have been terrorising residents along Salama road.

He will be charged with aggravated robbery.

The same police station also has in cells Hajji Mugerwa Kigundu who has been masquerading as the Chief Campaigner for President Yoweri Museveni ahead of the 2016 general elections.
