UOC President, William Blick, says the only funds they have will be used to facilitate Rowing, Swimming, Canoeing, Hockey and tennis teams.

However, Uganda Boxing federation’s spokesperson, Fred Kavuma, says they have their own funds and only want UOC to register them as participants.

“Individual players have sponsorship; we need UOC to register us.”

However, Kavuma is still confident the team will perform well in the Commonwealth Games that will be held in Scotland in July.
