Kadaga said that she is very optimistic Chameleone will do a recommendable job since he himself is a tourist attraction to people through his music.

The Speaker gave the singer a new name “Ngobi” which was the name of the first Busoga Prince to stay at the Kagulu rocks and also because Chameleone’s maternal grandmother was born in Busoga land.

As a sign of appreciation to the responsibility given, the Leone Island boss thanked the Speaker for the opportunity and pledged to serve with the whole of his might to ensure that the tourism drive is a success.

“I decided to take up this endorsement because I have always had a dream of serving the public; Busoga region has for quite a long time been left behind and needed to be brought out to the public eye,” noted Chameleone.

While signing the endorsement form, Chameleone also handed over the “Tubonge” concert invitation card to the Speaker inviting her to attend the concert as a sign of appreciation.
