18 Man Team Summoned for Cranes Regional Tour

 

A team of 18 players has been summoned as the Cranes Region Tour dubbed Namutima returns.

The team comprising of mainly players under the age of 23 players will take on Buganda province on Sunday 4th November 2018 at Bukalasa Agricultural Institute in Luweero District.

Under the close supervision of Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre, the game will be used as a precursor ahead of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers where Uganda will play South Sudan in the first round next month.

The squad has two goalkeepers, seven defenders, seven midfielders and two strikers.

Kirinya Jinja SS on form striker Joel Madondo who has six goals in five games will be the main source for goals on Sunday.

He is joined by teammate and youngster Vicent Zziwa, a senior three student at Jinja SS but has had a good run for Kirinya Jinja SS since the start of the season.
