The video which is ready to hit TV stations aims at sensitising citizens and creating awareness about the nature, manifestations and dangers of corruption in a creative, entertaining yet memorable way.
“As such, the song is a national call to action for citizens to play an active role in fighting corruption,” the group told ChimpLyf.
The song is also an opportunity for UDN to engage music artistes as ambassadors of the anti-corruption movement, to communicate the negative effects of corruption on social service delivery and call upon citizens to resist and report all forms of corruption, monitor social service delivery in their communities, and thereby hold their leaders accountable.
The song comes at a time when many corruption scandals continue to rock the country’s almost all sectors.
It is the best forum once can use to mobilise the youth and motivate all those concerned to fight the corruption scourge that has eaten up our society.
