Appearing before the Presidential Affairs Committee chaired by Col. Fred Mwesigye, the Minister revealed that the plenary findings carried out by his ministry found out that donor countries are funding civil society organisations to promote immorality in Uganda.
The Minister also revealed that his ministry has instituted the Anti–Pornography Committee which will help to track pornography in the country.
He says that Cabinet has already approved this committee and is expected to start its work in two weeks time.
Legislators in the committee, who included Patrick Mawanda and Odonga Otto, among others, tasked the Minister to carry out anti–pornography campaigns in all schools in the country.
