“Kampala Kids League will start a training programme at the Watoto church, KPC in Ntinda this Thursday, December 26, at 9am for kids within the Ntinda area. We are planning the 2014 tour in the Euro engagements. So give the Kids a chance,” said Kintu.

Kampala Kids League brought in players like current Cranes goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan, Sadam Juma, Denis Guma, Daniel Sserunkuma, Tonny Odur, Augustine Nsumba and many other players who have played in Uganda’s top flight leagues.

Kintu noted that KKL team will visit countries like Sweden and the UK for almost two months.

“The ‘resurrection’ of KKL programme will again help to raise more players but this time, one of the ambitions for the programme will be producing players to play in European top leagues during their time of playing professional football.”

It has been and still is a dream for Uganda to have a player in European top leagues since David Obua, who was almost there after playing in Scotland, parted ways with Hearts at a time he was expected to cross to countries like England.
