11:20am: The lead car in President Yoweri Museveni’s convoy has been involved in an accident near Kawuku along Entebbe Road on Monday morning, Chimp Corps report.

It remains unclear if President Museveni was part of the convoy from State House, Entebbe.


Special Forces Group publicist, Chris Magezi, could not comment on the matter as he is still in a weekly meeting in Kampala.

Special Presidential Communications Assistant, Sarah Kagingo, told Chimpreports by telephone: “I am not yet at office. Let them find out and call you back in the next 15 minutes.”

Police publicist, Judith Nabakooba could not be reached for comment as her known mobile phone was busy.

A source said the accident occurred at around 11:00am and that “some people must have died.”
