Rain Disrupts Tanzania, EALA game

The referee called-off the game for both team players to go back to the dressing-room hoping that the rain would cease.

On coming back to the pitch, the water had covered the ground and no pitch demarcations could be seen which left the referee no choice but to abandon the game.

By the time the game was abandoned, it was still 0-0.

Tanzania must win against East African Legislative assembly if it is to survive an early exit. Meanwhile, in the first game played, Rwanda defeated Burundi 2-0 for to qualify for the semi-finals.

Rwanda on Thursday will play the leader of group B in the first semi-final of the day. Uganda Parliament Team are the defending champions of this tournament.
