The Ministry of Health has on Wednesday confirmed 146 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda bringing the cumulative total number of confirmed infections in the country to 11,767.
3 new COVID-19 deaths have been registered from Kampala.
“Results from COVID-19 tests done on 26th October 2020; 146 new COVID-19 cases confirmed. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 11,767,” the Health Ministry announced.
The new cases include 164 contacts and alerts.
These include; 74 from Kampala, 16 from Kiryandongo, 11 from Gulu, 11 from Sironko, 7 from Mbale, 5 from Tororo, 5 from Wakiso, 7 from Busia, 3 from Soroti, 2 from Isingiro, 1 from Kabale, 1 from Kasese, 1 from Luweero, and 2 from Mukono
Currently, Uganda has a cumulative total of 11,767 COVID-19 confirmed cases, 7,461 recoveries and 106 fatalities.
