Top city comedians among which included; Daniel Omara, Mc Kapale, Bright, Salvador among others, performed at the show.

However, unlike in the past, where the comedians are accused of recycling tricks, they seem to have learnt a lot from the criticisms as all of the jokes performed were new to the fans.

The jokes were well-rehearsed and executed sending fans rocking with laughter throughout the show.

Kenya’s top comedian, Eric Omondi, was the main actor at the show.

He performed last and indeed lived to the expectations of the audience with his jokes.

“You know our grandmothers in the villages don’t know about fashion, right?” asked Omondi as the audience responded in the affirmative.

“So one day, I went to the village to pay mine a visit. However, arrival, the question she asked me even before sitting was, ‘Omondi, did you come on a boda boda? Go and shower before I give you food!” narrated Omundi, who dons tinted pink hair.

However, most of the jokes he performed were about the USA president, Barrack Obama and his being Luo.

The first edition of the show ended at 11 and the second edition is scheduled for Friday.

Alex Muhangi, a comedian with the group, who acted as the MC of the night, promised the fans to expect a “blast” in their second edition as many more comedians and jokes are going to be unleashed.
