Police Set To Lift Inter-Forces Games Trophy

order geneva;”>Police exhibited impressive performances during yesterday’s games session hence stealing the show and lifting the day.

Despite being defeated by Prisons in men’s football 2-1 at Namboole, Police went on to perform well in other disciplines.

In handball and volleyball, Police defeated UPDF 31-29 and 3-2 respectively, all games held at Namboole.


Police also won in Darts as they defeated Prisons 36-29 before teaching Wildlife Authority the game of volleyball which they won 3 straight games.

Earlier on Tuesday, Police won the athletics championship with 332 points.

Abdul Kalule, a police officer in charge of sports, said that “the team started at a low pace but we are beginning to catch-up and hopefully lifting this year’s Inter-Forces games may be the easiest thing to do”.

The games are still going on at Namboole with Volleyball, football, netball among others.
