medicine geneva;”>Vincent Kayizzi’s first-half goal was enough to earn Vipers a win at Nakivubo in the FUFA Super League.

Though Vipers had one of the poor performances at the pitch, being consistent helped the team to bag the needful three points.

Vipers are now two points clear at the top of the table with 29 points as second placed SC Victoria University are trailing respectfully behind with 27 points.

However, in a period of 24 hours, SC Victoria University have the chance of going back to the top if they can bag three points from Soana FC in tomorrow’s game at Kavumba.

The Friday game has marked the end of the first round for Vipers and they will be off to prepare for second round which will decide the title contention.

In other games played, Express FC handled a back to back loss after BIDCO FC thrashed them 2-1 at Wankulukuku as Masaka LC held Entebbe to a 1 all draw.

Likewise, CRO continued with their impressive performance away as they managed to get a point from Police at Kavumba after the two teams settling for a 1 all draw.

The League resumes on Saturday with only one game as Soana will be hosting second placed SC Victoria University at Kavumba.
