“We are aiming at the low income earners who cannot afford electricity and to also relieve them from the burden of buying kerosene,” Nguer added.

Nguer also noted that being one of the biggest energy companies in the world they have thought of Africa as being one of the best continents to invest in because of its favorable weather and geomorphology which is why they decided to start up several energy plants in Africa to benefit the continent as a permanent key investment.

He elaborated that Africa also being one of the continents with the highest youth population, investing in Africa will provide some percentage to the desperate youth with jobs because governments in Africa cannot fully provide jobs to all the youth population.

“This will also create a favourable atmosphere for business,” he concluded.
