“We have been warning Turinawe of unlawful assembly which she did not take seriously because her operations are not recognized by police and other security organs,” asserted Matte.
Matte said Police had warned Turinawe and her group to register lawfully with security under religious groups to help police establish its missions and background but Turinawe refused.
“Turinawe says that she has no intentions to cause insecurity or harm people but prays and heals the sick,’’ added Matte who noted that the group also claims to have prayed for the mentally disturbed who got healed.
The other suspects were identified as Dennis Twine, Agnes Katushabe, Winnie Bamuzaire, Prize Arinda, Sarah Kebirungi , Patience Ninsiima , James Mugumya, AmosNaturinda , Annet Ahimbisibwe and OliviaTumuhairwe.
