The Ministry of Health has on Saturday confirmed 121 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda bringing the cumulative total number of confirmed infections in the country to 10,455.
“Results from COVID-19 tests done on 16th October 2020; 121 new COVID-19 cases confirmed. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 10,455,” the Health Ministry announced.
The new cases include 121 contacts and alerts.
These are; 58 from Kampala, 23 from Luwero, 7 from Arua, 6 from Isingiro, 5 from Sembabule, 4 from Masindi, 3 from Amuru, 3 from Mbale, 3 from Wakiso, 2 from Bugweri, 2 from Buvuma, 2 from Jinja, 2 from Lira and 1 from Terego.
Currently, Uganda has a cumulative total of 10,455 COVID-19 confirmed cases, 6,901 recoveries and 96 fatalities.
