“We have a lot of wealth here that we can only know through tourism,” stressed the Buganda premier.
He therefore called upon all the youths to embrace tourism in the kingdom.
Meanwhile the Buganda minister for Tourism, Rita Namyalo urged the people of Buganda to conserve the tourist attractions so as to be used by the next generation.

“If these attractions are spoilt, the next generation will not have chance to look at them,” she said.
The one week long tourism expo organized by the Buganda tourism board and the Ministry of Tourism is part of the celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the Kabaka’s coronation ceremony with the climax of these celebrations to be held on August 4 at the king’s palace in Mengo.
