“Okwi is now a Victoria University player and he is about to play in our friendly game today (Wednesday) though I can’t tell how much we paid KCC his former club now.”

However Senyange didn’t tell how long Okwi will be at Victoria University as he claimed that still some paper work hasn’t been yet done.

Okwi played for KCC last season but his name appeared nowhere on the team score sheet at any time in league though the team managed to lift the league title.


He also played last weekend’s encounter for Cranes against Tanzania where he came in as Mpande Joseph’s replacement in the 76th minute.

Meanwhile, KCC FC has also offloaded more players from its squad for next season. Yuda Mugalu, Ceaser Sapeo, Titus Lubega and Kiwanuka Gadaffi are some of the players who were shown exit from the club.
