Former MP Aspirant for Kibale County in the 10th Parliament who also served as Kamwenge district speaker for the last term Gerald Twebaze has said that the current Parliament is dragging the country to the wrong direction.

He noted that the few who are working are busy contributing to burials, fundraising for churches and other unnecessary things.
Commenting on their area MP Hon. Cuthbert Abigaba, Twebaze noted that he has not been seen, even when local schools were swept away by a hail storm recently.
“They are just increasing their salaries, demanding money for vehicles and death allowances,” Gerald added.
Twebaze also opposed the infamous allowances proposed for the MPs, stressing that the legislators are already earning enough.
