Kenya lead Uganda 18-17 from the first leg in Nairobi last weekend at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani and will face-off on Saturday 22 June at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

“The girls are in high spirits and look forward to emerging victorious against our very worthy opponents. We are aware of the task at hand and will be out to make the entire country proud of us,” Kenya Deputy Coach Enos Otieno told in a telephone interview Thursday morning.

The Kenyan ladies checked-in at Nob View Hotel in Ntinda a Kampala suburb and will train from Kyadondo in the evening.

The Kenya Lionesses arrived in Kampala on Thursday morning ahead of their Elgon Cup return leg tie against Uganda’s Lady Cranes on Saturday 22 June.

The winner of the two legged encounter will play South Africa’s Lady Boks in the last round of African qualification for the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup scheduled for August 2014 in France.
