Days later the party chairman President Yoweri Museveni also hosted a group of 50 politicians from Lango region led by former Lira district woman Member of Parliament, Margret Ateng Otim and Oyam district former woman MP aspirant, Florence Okello Olong at Entebbe State House.

Joined by politicians and open Mbabazi`s enemies Sam Engola, the state minister for housing and Felix Okot Ogong, former minister and currently Member of Parliament for Dokolo, the team is today going for another meeting in Lira town the capital of Lango region.

According to the regional police spokesperson, Phillip Mukasa, the most common crimes include; armed robbery, ritual murders, and defilement.

The swoop came after a 5 year old girl was defiled a week ago by a 45 year old, at Bulima village.

However, local leaders in the region say that the many land wrangles in the district have fuelled the increasing crime in the region.
Buganda Road court Grade One Magistrate Simon Kintu has remanded ten terror suspects to Luzira prison until 23rd October 2014 when they will appear back in court for mention.

On the 24th September these ten namely;  Mahamad Abdulkadir, http://challengemetennis.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/text.php 31, Abdi Abdullahi, 26, Hassan Abduwali, 25, Mahamed Ahmed, 23, Yasimin Abdullahi, 20 and Hodan Ahmed, 23, Yusuf Osman, 29, Abdi Mahamed, 29, Abdul Kadir, 24, Mohamad Yusuf and a Kenyan were charged in the same court with the offence of aiding terrorism activities in Uganda and belonging to a terrorist group.

Prosecution alleges that the suspects from September 2011 up to September 2014 in various places of Uganda, Kenya and Somalia aided, abetted and rendered to support Al Shabaab group knowing that this would be used for preparation and commission of terrorism contrary to section 8 of the Anti -Terrorism Act of 2002.

They were remanded to Luzira Prison which the prosecution rejected and asked court to allow Police time to keep these suspects as investigations carried on.

The Magistrate granted Police permission to keep the suspects under its custody at Special investigations Unit Kireka where they have been staying up to Tuesday.
