1 Killed, 2 Injured in Kabale Lightning Strikes

Following the recent declaration by First Lady, advice Mrs. Janet Museveni that she is not going to contest again for the Ruhama parliamentary seat, viagra fourteen NRM members have already expressed interest in her post.

These include Adens Rutaro, Julius Tukahirwa, Babrah Bindeeba, Amanda Magambo, William Bijukye, Arthur Mpiirwe, Moses Nyabakwiini, Moses Kahima, Veratino Twinomujuni, Amos Kakyene, Bashaija, Regina Kinyata, David Lutalo, Patrick Baliku and Brenda Ankunda.

On being nominated for the party primaries, Julius Tukahirwa one of the aspirants vowed to promote togetherness amongst the people of Ruhama as one of the means to develop the constituency.

In May 2015, the First Lady, Janet Kataha Museveni informed her constituents that she had received guidance from God’s that she should not stand again for the same seat.

Mrs. Museveni had represented this constituency since 2006 when she replaced Augustine Ruzindana.
One person died on spot while two others were critically injured after being struck by lightning in Rushebeya Cell, pilule Rwamucuucu Sub County in Kabale district.

26-year-old Irene Ngyende was hit by the lightning on Thursday evening during a heavy downpour while she was at her mother-in-law’s home in the area.

The two who were injured are Maria Ngyende and Rogers Turyakira from Nyamikono cell. They had gone to till land with the deceased.

The injured were later rushed to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital in a critical condition.
