Nakawa grade one magistrate Emmanuel Baguma has today granted bail to four of the five members of the Unemployed Youths group accused of inciting violence.
The youths are accused of inciting violence on the streets of Kampala on January 20, tadalafil http://dbkschool.net/wp-includes/class-wp-dependency.php while they marched to the Offices of the Inspector General of Police.
The four; Busingye Phiona, http://cmd-kenya.org/institute/wp-includes/simplepie/misc.php Awing Bethwell, Serunjogi Rashid and Buwebo Habib were released on a cash bail of Shs 300,000 each.
Meanwhile the magistrate rejected the bail application of Kahemba Babie on grounds that one of his sureties identified as Paga Gloria lacked an identity card.
Disgruntled defense argued that this wasn’t reason enough, since the surety had managed to present a copy of the ID card with her passport, all of which are recognized by government of Uganda.
The magistrate also pushed aside Defense’s request to substitute the surety with FDC Women’s League boss Ingrid Turinawe.
Defense lawyer Semmakadde Isaac vowed to petition the Judicial Review Commission, calling for a disciplinary action against the behavior of Magistrate Baguma.
The case was adjourned to 30th January and one of the accused Kahemba Babie was remanded up to the same date.
