Kakande, Suma in Sour Reunion as Jmc, Bul Clash in First Derby

Presidential Candidate Amama Mbabazi commenced his campaign trail in Kabale District with a big disappointment after very few people turned up for his rally.

Mbabazi expressed outrage over reports that some individuals sabotaged his rally.

“People were told not come here for my rally, search prostate ” said a visibly livid Mbabazi. “Those who want to test my wrath should fasten their belts, treatment ” added Mbabazi who spoke in Rukiga.

Mbabazi hails from neighboring Kanungu district. Being seen as failing to mobilize large crowds in this area would be a huge setback for Mbabazi’s presidential candidature.

It is said retired Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde and King Caesar Mulenga mobilized people not to grace Mbabazi’s rally.

ChimpReports could not independently verify this claim but Tumukunde has repeatedly been accused of working clandestinely to undermine Mbabazi’s candidature.

Mbabazi started his day from Bukinda in Rukiga County before proceeding to Habuyonza and Konyo. He spoke of the Advanced Sub county Model and how it would benefit the vegetable farmers in Kabale.

In Bukinda, farmers grow carrots, cabbage, onions and Irish potatoes. Mbabazi said the ASM would help them add value to their product and boost their collective bargaining power with regards to price of product.

Mbabazi is expected to hold more rallies in Kabale tomorrow before proceeding to Kisoro District.
The first Kakindu (Jinja) derby of the season perhaps presents an intriguing point for Bul Fc fans to critically assess the sort of progress that they have made after spending heavily in the season when they face a cash-strapped but high-flying JMC Hippos on Friday.
