FDC: Otto, Munyagwa Have a Right of Opinion

Forum for Democratic Change has dismissed talk that the party is in disarray following the appointment of the Shadow Cabinet last week.

There were some unpleasant reactions from sections of the public including some senior FDC members who termed the new cabinet as “betrayal” of the party’s 2016 presidential candidate, site http://cuveeboutiquespa.com/site/wp-includes/requests/transport.php Dr. Kizza Besigye.

The Aruu County Member of Parliament, http://cyancdesign.com/wp-includes/l10n.php Samuel Odonga Otto accused the party president, Gen. Mugisha Muntu for working hard to kill the opposition party  by appointing members only loyal to him and sidelining Besigye’s diehards and activists.

He went as far as daubing the party president as “too incompetent to run village council secretary’s office”

Kawempe North Member of Parliament (MP), Mubarak Munyagwa also lashed at the party for betraying Dr. Besigye by appointing parliament leaders as though to emphasize the National Resistance Movement’s victory.

However, the party Deputy Secretary General, Harold Kaija told Chimpreports on Monday that what is going on in the party is only expression of different opinions by the different party members, which is healthy for any organization.

“We are used to such differences; we are not like the NRM where its one man’s say and whatever he says no one must object. In FDC everyone is given a chance to express his or her opinion. The party is stable and we shall soon settle the matter,” Kaija noted.

Kaija revealed that the aggrieved members especially Otto and Munyagwa shall be given more audience and that their concerns will be appropriately handled.

He however added that it was unfair for the MPs to single out the Party President Gen Mugisha Muntu yet the new cabinet was the work of the party’s working committee.
