The Prime Minister of Uganda Hon Ruhakana Rugunda also the chairman of the National Consultative Forum (NCF) has Friday revealed that none of the opposition parties has left the forum as earlier claimed in media.

The NCF is a union of all political parties that are fully registered in Uganda and have representatives in Parliament.

Rugunda said this morning that all the opposition parties that are registered in Uganda are fully represented and participate in the programs of the forum and that they are all working harmoniously.

“It’s not true that the opposition parties left the national consultative forum, no party has even threated to withdraw or withdrawn from the National Consultative Forum” he said.

Meanwhile, speaking at a meeting of the National Consultative Forum at Royal Suites Bugolobi, all the political parties in attendance pledged to work hand in hand with the new electoral commission chairman Justice Simon Byamukama and his team.

On his part, Justice Byamukama urged all the political parties to look ahead and also consolidate the gains realized before him.
