When the Cranes’ Namutima team fell to West Nile Select in a painful 1-0 loss at the green light stadium in Arua a fortnight ago; two Fufa big league coaches Allan Kabonge and Bosco Dudu were the brains behind that historical win for the natives.
The two coaches met on Thursday but this time in arguably one of the most fierce derbies present in the country- ‘The West Nile Derby’ between Paidha Black Angels and Onsuparaka FC.
Former Police Fc and Mbale Heroes forward Abram Ogussi took advantage of a defensive lapse in the 23rd minute to give the Black Angels their first competitive win over their rivals.
Of course, physician http://curesoffersandproducts.com/brain/geniux1.php one man, Coach Dudu is credited for team chemistry and here he reveals his winning secret.
“First and foremost it was a very tough and tight game and of course being a derby it could end either way but our strategy prevailed,” coach Dudu narrated.
“Onduparaka is a side that can really pass (the ball), so we couldn’t allow them play the usual ground ball and that to me was the main stroke.”
“I deployed Rajab (Sabir) in the midfield position and to me he was man of the match! His simple mission was to intercept passes and destruct any transition from their half. And he did well because they failed to possess the ball their usual style,” the soft spoken coach added.
Paidha Black have five more games to go to make amends if they are to slip into the playoff places.
Three of those games against Busia Fisheries, Lira united and Water will be staged at Bar Okoro stadium while Baza and CRO Fc encounters will be away.
“In reality we are looking for the third spot because the two leading teams are a bit far ahead with only five games remaining. The good news is that we have played all top seven teams on the log and the morale booster is (Thursday) win against table leaders,” Dudu sums it all.
